These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of KARYOW's marketplace connecting clients with local service providers in Malaysia. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding contract under Malaysian law to use KARYOW. Service providers must additionally hold any professional licenses required for the services they offer.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
KARYOW facilitates bookings between clients and independent service providers. Payment is taken at the time of booking via Stripe and held in escrow until the service is confirmed complete. KARYOW retains a 12% platform commission from each completed transaction.
Cancellations more than 24 hours before the appointment are refunded in full. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a 50% charge to compensate the provider. No-shows are non-refundable. Refund disputes are handled by KARYOW support and may take up to 10 business days to resolve.
Providers must deliver services professionally, arrive on time, carry required tools and insurance, and comply with all applicable laws. Providers may be delisted for repeated poor ratings, verified complaints, or breach of these Terms.
Clients must provide accurate booking information, ensure safe access to the service location, and treat providers with respect. Abuse, harassment, or fraudulent chargebacks may result in immediate account termination.
Only clients who completed a booking may review the provider. Reviews must be honest, non-defamatory, and reflect the client's genuine experience. KARYOW may remove reviews that violate this policy.
KARYOW is a technology platform and is not a party to the service agreement between client and provider. To the maximum extent permitted by law, KARYOW is not liable for the acts, omissions, quality, or outcome of services delivered by independent providers.
You may close your account at any time. KARYOW may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, engage in fraud, or harm the community.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute shall be resolved through the courts of Kuala Lumpur.
